Sub: L.D.E. for promotion to the Cadre of IP Examination, Departmental Quota for the year 2015-2016.

Sir,
Your kind attention is invited toward Dte. F.No.A-34012/09/2016-DE dated 5th September, 2016 under which the notification for Limited Departmental Examination for promotion to the Cadre of I.P. Examination has been issued. The dates for conducting the examination have been declared as 15th & 16th October, 2016. (Later date postponed to 22nd & 23rd October, 2016) The period given for examination after notification on 05th September, 2016 is very less. As per rule notification for examination should be issued 90 days before the date of examination.

It is therefore, requested to kindly look into the matter personally and cause suitable instructions to extend period completing 90 days after notification so that the candidates appearing in examination may get sufficient time for preparations.

An early action is highly solicited.
